  "abstract" : [ "Mit Sorge beobachtet der passionierte Kleingärtner Stephan Bevc die sozial ausschließende Wirkung steigender beruflicher Qualifikationsansprüche und des allgemein hohen materiellen Lebensstandards. Geprägt ist seine Perspektive von der Auf- und Abstiegsmobilität im eigenen beruflichen Umfeld. Um jederzeit für wirtschaftlich unsichere Zeiten gewappnet zu sein, entscheidet sich Bevic bewusst für einen geringinvestigativen Lebensstil und bevorzugt die Pacht eines Kleingartens gegenüber dem Bau eines Eigenheims. Der Kleingarten stellt für ihn jedoch nicht nur eine wirtschaftliche Flexibilisierungsstrategie dar, sonder bietet auch persönliche Lebensqualität und insbesondere die Möglichkeit, sozial und materiell schwächer gestellten Gruppen gesellschaftliche Teilhabe zu ermöglichen. Kleingärten kommt darüber hinaus eine ökologische Funktion zu, da sie bei umweltgerechtem Gärtnern Agro- und Biodiversität sicherstellen; aus einer stadtklimatologischen Perspektive betrachte absorbieren sie Staub und überschüssiges Regenwasser und dienen als Kalt- und Frischluftschneisen in der Stadt." ],
