  "abstract" : [ "Abstract: Das Ruhrgebiet ist gegenwärtig Spitzenreiter auf dem Weg zu einer schrumpfenden und überalterten Gesellschaft. Mit diesem Strukturwandel sind jedoch auch neue Chancen und Potenziale verbunden. Gemeinsamer Ausgangspunkt für die Neuausrichtung der Strukturpolitik in NRW ist einerseits eine intensivere Nutzung des Potenzials von ansässigen Forschungs- und Hochschuleinrichtungen und andererseits eine bessere partnerschaftliche Kooperationskultur zwischen öffentlichen und privaten Akteuren. Das Ruhrgebiet entwickelt sich zum demographischen Laboratorium. So hat sich zum Beispiel eine boomende Seniorenwirtschaft entwickelt. Zur \"heimlichen Heldin\" des Strukturwandels in NRW ist die Gesundheits- und Sozialwirtschaft geworden. (ICE2)" ],
