  "abstract" : [ "Abstract: Der Autor beschreibt den Berufseinstieg und die aktuellen Beschäftigungsverhältnisse von Sozialwissenschaftlern anhand einer an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum im Frühjahr 2001 durchgeführten Verbleibsstudie. Er bezieht sich dabei auf zwei Forschungsfragen: Wie sah die Beschäftigungssituation der Absolventen im Anschluss an das Studium aus (Berufsübergang)? Wie sieht die aktuelle Beschäftigungssituation aus (Berufsverbleib)? Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass sich die überwiegende Mehrheit der in Bochum ausgebildeten Sozialwissenschaftler eher früher als später in den Arbeitsmarkt integrieren kann, wobei der Bereich 'Wissenschaft und Forschung' für viele Absolventen eine Erstbeschäftigung bietet. Im Laufe der Zeit ist aber eine Verschiebung insbesondere in Richtung 'Industrie, Handel und Dienstleistung' zu konstatieren. Der Autor geht ferner kurz auf die Problematik der Vergleiche von Absolventenbefragungen ein, die meistens in einem sehr heterogenen Untersuchungsfeld von Einzelstudien stattfinden." ],
