  "abstract" : [ "Während der Kulturtourismus in urbanen Zentren bereits erfolgreich etabliert ist, lässt sich im ländlichen Raum noch viel ungenutztes Potenzial identifizieren, das auf seine Entfaltung wartet. Initiativen auf Landes- und Bundesebene sind mit dem Ziel gestartet, über die Entwicklung und Vermarktung kulturtouristischer Angebote auch die Entwicklung ländlicher Regionen insgesamt anzustoßen. Neben diesen dezidiert praxisbezogenen Bemühungen liegen bislang jedoch kaum Publikationen zum Thema vor. Der Band schließt diese Lücke mit weiterführenden Anregungen für mögliche Strategien und Erfolgsfaktoren. Ausgewiesene Expert*innen aus der Kulturtourismusforschung, -praxis und -beratung geben anschauliche Einblicke in verschiedene Aspekte des Kulturtourismus im ländlichen Raum. Dabei werden sowohl die Nachfrage- als auch die Angebotsseite betrachtet und praxisnahe Handlungsempfehlungen gegeben." ],
