  "abstract" : [ "Das Tagebuch »Glossarium« enthält die Gedankenwelt von einem guten Jahrzehnt des späten Carl Schmitt. Schon die erste Ausgabe von 1991 erregte große Aufmerksamkeit, allerdings blieb sie wegen zahlreicher Fehler und falscher Übertragungen aus der Handschrift unbefriedigend; vor allem war sie ein Torso, da sie nur die ersten drei Teile enthielt und die beiden letzten unberücksichtigt ließ. Die neue Ausgabe ist nicht nur eine korrigierte zweite Auflage, sondern ein komplett aus der Handschrift neu hergestellter Text aller fünf Teile des »Glossariums«, der knapp und zurückhaltend kommentiert wird. Entstanden in einer Zeit, die ihn aus der Lebensbahn eines bürgerlichen Gelehrten warf, nahm Carl Schmitt mit den Ressentiments, aber auch mit der Tocquevilleschen Hellsichtigkeit des Besiegten die neue Lage wahr. Gegen die Interpretation der Sieger, die die Niederlage als Befreiung deuteten, sprach Schmitt von »falscher Befreiung« und meinte, dass zwar der Sieger die Geschichte schreibt, aber der Gescheiterte der Gescheitere ist" ],
