It aims at balancing both positions in reaching for a more thoroughgoing criticism of commercialization processes within (not only) the German health care state. It claims that the hegemonic modernisation project of competitive based cost containment policy might lead to commercialization processes by accident, acknowledging the difference between economization and commerzialization processes.
