  "abstract" : [ "Am 12. und 13. Dezember 1981 fand in Dortmund ein Ereignis statt, das die Behindertenbewegung in Deutschland nachhaltig prägen sollte: das Krüppeltribunal. Die Aktivist:innen decken auf, was der Sozialstaat lange zu verschleiern versuchte: Menschen mit Behinderungen werden in der Bundesrepublik systematisch diskriminiert. Mit ihrem Anliegen nach einem selbstbestimmten Leben und einem System, das ihnen dieses Leben ermöglicht, verschaffen sich Menschen mit Behinderung Anfang der 80er Jahre erstmals Gehör. Das Tribunal wird zu einem Meilenstein der Selbstermächtigung. Welche konkreten Forderungen stellten die Aktivist:innen in Dortmund? Wie waren die öffentlichen Reaktionen auf das Krüppeltribunal? Welche Konsequenzen wurden aus den Anklagen gezogen? Und wie stellt sich die Situation für Menschen mit Behinderung in Deutschland heute dar?Historiker Dr. Jens Gründler und die Zeitzeuginnen und Aktivistinnen Birgit Edler und Dr. Birgit Rothenberg sprechen in dieser Folge über die Chronologie der Ereignisse, die besondere Situation von Frauen mit Behinderung und die Bedeutung des Tribunals bis heute." ],
