  "abstract" : [ "ger: Im Auftrag des Ministeriums für Umwelt, Raumordnung und Landwirtschaft NRW wurde vom Institut für Landwirtschaftliche Botanik der Universität Bonn, Abteilung Geobotanik und Naturschutz, von September 1998 bis Mai 1999 das Agrarumweltprogramm “20-jährige Flächenstilllegung landwirtschaftlich genutzter Flächen zu Zwecken des Umweltschutzes in Nordrhein-Westfalen” hinsichtlich der Bedeutung für den abiotischen und biotischen Ressourcenschutz, der Potenziale für Agrarökologie und Landschaftsstruktur sowie der Akzeptanz bei den Landwirten untersucht. Hierzu wurden in zehn ausgewählten Kreisen Westfalens (Coesfeld, Herford, Höxter, Lippe, Minden-Lübbecke, Paderborn, Soest, Steinfurt, Hochsauerlandkreis und Märkischer Kreis) 208 (17,2 %) der insgesamt 1209 stillgelegten Flächen in NRW bearbeitet. Die Auswahl der Flächen erfolgte nach ihrer naturräumlichen Lage, ihrer Verteilung im Kreisgebiet, ihrer Größe und vorherigen Nutzung (Flächenkategorie). Die ausgewählten Stilllegungsflächen wurden im Herbst 1998 sowie Frühjahr 1999 aufgesucht und die relevanten Parameter anhand eines Erfassungsbogens erhoben. Aufgenommen wurden einerseits allgemeine Faktoren wie Größe, Relief, Neigung und Exposition der Flächen, Ertragsmesszahlen, Jahr der Antragstellung, Flächenkategorien der Kreisstellen der Landwirtschaftskammer und Auflagen der Unteren Landschaftsbehörden. Andererseits wurden wichtige Parameter für den abiotischen und biotischen Ressourcenschutz ermittelt: Dies waren verschiedene bodenkundliche Faktoren wie Nährstoffgehalt, Bodenfeuchte und -reaktion, die Bedeutung der Flächen für den Erosionsschutz, Sukzessionsstadium, floristisches Arteninventar, Gesamtdeckung der Vegetation, Gehölzanteil, Kontaktbiotope sowie die Bedeutung für Amphibien.
