Die in diesem Band versammelten Aufsätze verfolgen das Ziel, in einem diskursgeschichtlichen Ansatz nicht allein nach den Krisendiagnosen und Reformvorschlägen, sondern vor allem nach den dahinter sichtbar werdenden Leitvorstellungen von der Institution Universität und ihrer Aufgabenstellung zu fragen.
