September 1939 wurde Lipiny von der Deutschen Wehrmacht besetzt und war ab 1941 Teil des Gaus Oberschlesien im Großdeutschen Reich. Am 28. Januar 1945 wurde der Ort von der Roten Armee besetzt und wieder Teil Polens. Seine Selbstständigkeit verlor Lipiny am 10. April 1951 und wurde der Stadt Swietochlowice angeschlossen." ],
