Die offiz. Bezeichnungen für die österr. und ungar. Reichshälften waren: \"Die im Reichsrat vertretenen Königreiche und Länder\" bzw. \"Die Länder der Ungarischen Krone\" (d.h. Ungarn mit dem Nebenland Kroatien-Slawonien). Die hierfür geschaffenen Kurzformen \"Cisleithanien\" für Österreich und \"Transleithanien\" für Ungarn waren nur verwaltungstechnische Begriffe der jeweiligen Reichshälften." ],
